You only get one chance to make a good first impression, and Melanie Ratcliff can claim a resounding success in her big-screen introduction to the world, in the film Are You Here (2014) with Owen Wilson, Zach Galifianakis, and Amy Poehler. Though she isn’t officially given a name, Melanie’s character is titled “Attractive Neighbor,” and she is most definitely and appropriately typecaset. A model with long legs, long dark hair and the ability to inspire longing in the hearts and souls of those who have the opportunity to gaze upon her outstanding figure and face, her character repeatedly captures the attention of co-star Owen Wilson, playing the role of Steve Dallas. The sizzling siren’s tall windows are in the direct sight-line of Steve’s balcony, and he has more than noticed his across-the-courtyard neighbor and her sexy displays. She tempts him in a pink bra and panty set, then a black bra and cheeky G-string duo. When she strips, branches from a large tree block his view, and he’s left with just glimpses of her fine form. And then, one night, she turns up in a new set of turquoise and white lingerie. This time, when she removes her bra and panties, Steve steps out onto the balcony and, realizing the tree is gone, he can finally see every inch of her creamy skin. A long and lean torso is highlighted by two gorgeous breasts topped with dark rosy nipples. And while her hot pocket is still obscured by some random knickknack on her windowsill, there’s enough of a view to see that there’s only a little, if any, fur on Melanie’s kitty. See? Good first impression! Unfortunately, though, it’s also the last, as this is the starlet’s only screen credit.
